Martial God Asura: A Comprehensive Review

Martial God Asura

Martial God Asura is a novel that is one of my long-time personal favorites. Despite the novel having repetitive tendencies it can still be a fairly enjoyable read if you can persevere. This novel may not be for everyone as there is some adult rated content at times.

The plot is done fairly well overall. Especially for the first thousand or so chapters. After that, it starts to get a little repetitive. There is a lot to enjoy from the plot. The novel is almost to 6k chapters, so it is a little long.

The world building is done pretty well is tells the story of Chu Feng extremely well in the beginning. There are some ups and downs to the world building. Nonetheless, it does well to cover for it over the course of the story.

The character development is done decently. It is not the best overall as it mostly focuses on the main character. Side characters tend to get neglected and forgotten for long periods at times it seems. There are some pretty funny character interactions at times though.

There are a couple different professions as well for cultivation. They are martial cultivation, world spiritualists, and body cultivation, to name a few. Chu Feng happens to dabble in all of them it seems.

Overall, I would say Martial God Asura is a decent novel to read. It is good if you’re looking for something to read to kill time. It is also a good choice if you’re new to the genre.
