Fields of Gold
Fields of Gold is one of my favorite novels that I have read so far. This is a story that follows a woman who reincarnates as a young girl. She lives her life while striving to make her family’s life better.
The world building is done really well. The author does a good job of drawing the reader into the world they are constructing. There is a lot of drama at the beginning of the story. The family does end up splitting at a point. They start living better lives for themselves.
The character development is one of my favorite parts. All the characters are very lifelike. Some of them can be pretty cliche at times. You find this in most Chinese stories that are like this one. There is romance involved later in the story as well and contributes heavily toward the ending.
Overall, I would say Fields of Gold is a hidden gem. It can certainly be worth checking out if you’re a fan of female lead stories. You’ll find it really interesting to read.
